In my accent reduction coaching program, I work with many Spanish speaking clients.

These include international professionals from Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Puerto Rico.  While each person has a slightly different accent, they all have problems with these five features of spoken English:

1. The /I/ sound as in fill & difficult
2. The /ae/ sound as in black & advantage
3. Falling intonation in Wh questions
4. Word final sounds such as the 3 ed sounds and the /z/ sound
5. Vowel lengthening in stressed syllables
