Chambers is also obsessed with the communication and presentation skills of all his top executives.
In fact, every time a Cisco executive delivers either an internal or customer facing presentation, they are rated on their communication skills using a scale of 1-5.

Indian Executives Shine
Does this mean that you need to be a native speaker in order to succeed as a Cisco executive?

When asked if an Indian could succeed him as CEO, Chambers named two “superstars” who he felt could do that. These were Padmashree Warrior and Pankaj Patel.
This is the first time Chambers has mentioned the possibility of Indian-origin professionals as possible successors.
