A couple of you have emailed me to ask my opinion of the Pimsleur American English audio course. The Pimsleur method is based on listening and speaking to help you learn grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in a natural way.
I have not used the course to learn English but I just got the Complete Spanish Course which contains 9 CDs and a small 21 page booklet. The audio is very high quality but there is very little text. (I previously used the course to try and learn Mandarin Chinese when I taught in California). You can check it out below.
